Ross joined EAKOM Engineering & Consulting in 2017 as Vice President and Principal. ​​​Ross holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and New Mexico. With over 10 years of experience working in the Structural Engineering industry in West Texas, Ross has worked on projects as small as 1,500 square-foot residential foundation designs to large, multi-million dollar commercial projects: educational, athletic, performing arts and industrial facilities. These diverse projects have provided experience with a multitude of structural systems, materials and project delivery methods.
When Ross was approached about taking EAKOM Engineering to the next level by stepping up as CEO, Ross was excited about growing the business while maintaining the core values: integrity and excellent communication with its clients.
When asked what he enjoys most about being a Structural Engineer, Ross explains, “I thoroughly enjoy each project’s unique challenges and solutions: working with team members and the satisfaction of witnessing the client [and public] enjoy the finished product. It is incredibly rewarding to see the completed building, and to know that I have been part of a team who made a concept into a reality.”
Away from the office, Ross enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Rachelle, and his two boys, Rhett and Reid! You may also see him at a Texas Tech athletic event or playing golf in his spare time. Ross also enjoys being involved with many religious, civic and professional organizations. ​
